Sorry to see one less outlet for people to speak their minds. You made many friends and a few enemies but if we really want change we have to go past the just talk stage. Many used the forum to get the word out to help them reach their goal. Some just seemed to enjoy the debate and some the attack. Many just fight to maintain their beliefs with a mind that is closed to change. Change requires effort and is uncomfortable for many so we just keep going down the road for better or worse. Try to make a positive difference in someones life by doing something out of the ordinary. Start at home and your community. So long Jim Schultz

Bynum did and no law enforcement agency nor Senator Evelyn Lynn would do anything. It was ignored along with my complaint about fraud in the planning and redevelopment department and his additional sworn statements about illegal transfers to Enterprise Funds & misclassified millions hidden in our budget. When you remove the ability for politicians to enrich their contributors with land use changes then you will have a better quality of people aspiring to these elected positions and staff positions. Support Florida Hometown Democracy and STAND or sit and watch it get worse. You get the government you deserve. Hope you guys stick around and keep the site updated.

This wouldn't have been possible without the input from all of you. Whether we agreed or disagreed, your calls, comments, and questions challenged me to think and for that I will always be grateful. A special thanks to the Wilhite family for giving me, not only the opportunity to do the kind of radio show that I wanted to do but, for giving me a 'radio home' furnished with some of the kindest people that I have ever had the pleasure of working along side. I will truly miss you all. PLEASE CHECK BACK FROM TIME TO TIME FOR UPDATES......WE MAY POPUP SOMEWHERE UNEXPECTED!

I read that website couple years ago and it is not easy to remove fluoride but I do believe Reverse osmosis can remove most if filters are new. From 1060 until about 1973 dialysis centers did not filter the water and in fluoridated cities it destroyed peoples bones and other complications of fluoride toxicity. They started putting in double ro systems and now rarely kill or damage people with fluoride toxicity. Only very sick people get the treatment so often they have problems already. On clinic had 3 deaths and many ill when ro equipment malfunctioned. I think the amount of water used is in the range or 300 plus to 500 quarts weekly to exchange toxins. So much information --all can not be true on both sides sometimes. It is a good website but I think the RO can work. Spring water from florida is best as usually about .1ppm f --just call the number on the bottle for lab report. Publix spring comes from Ga and fl with the GA water at .5ppm and Fl. at .1ppm I don not buy bottle water but use RO so I really hope it works. Its better to keep the calcium and magnesium in the water I think. Eating calcium rich foods protects you some as it forms insoluble compounds and is not aabsorbed per 1993 gov tox report page 129. The american water works report list a full page of contaminants such as heavy metalos arsenic and lead and radionuclides as uranium and radium 226-228 and alpha and beta particles and so on. Choloramine which we use gives the highest leaching of lead with the FSA product we use(900% increase) They add triphosphate to try to keep it lower.. Go mention your feelings to the city--you can usually leave within 30 minutes of the start of the meeting as citizen comment start most meetings. 3 minutes and your done. I have been told it can not be an issue because only one person is complaining. It will only change when we make it change. People put to much faith in their doctors and dentists and they are not up to speed on everything--You must see what is right for you and your family.

Jim Schultz, What bottled water do you drink? I read that fluoride has the same boiling point as water so distillation doesn't remove it and the fluoride molecule is the same size as the water molecule so reverse osmosis also doesn't work. http://www.just-think-it.com/no-f.htm I also read some bottled waters have more fluoride than tap water, and since bottled water companies are not required to list the ingredients I'm having trouble figuring out just what the hell I'm supposed to do about it.

Submitted by: Greg Lake [] on Jan 16, 2008 at 20:22
It seems pretty clear that the city commission has no intention of following the rules, with regard to paying the missing C.R.A. monies back. Mayor Ritchie has buried his head in the sand, as has the rest of the city commission, waiting for this bit of 'unpleasentness' to pass. It was suggested that they would put the money back, taking it from the general fund! That would be like stealing the money twice! If you were caught after you robbed a bank they would not allow you to just give the money back and say that you were sorry. In the real world....YOU GO TO JAIL!!!! The state auditor general was quite clear in his findings that Florida statues were violated. Someone in Daytona needs to file a criminal complaint with the State Attorney General....as our local 'hero' John Tanner has no intention of following up on this. And, don't expect to read ANYTHING more about this in the News Journal...as Mr. Kainey appearently sees nothing wrong with the way the C.R.A.'s are being abused. If the citizens in Daytona don't do something to make these people accountable, then you are quietly giving them permission to continue to 'screw' the city and steal more of OUR county tax dollars! Please don't ever forget that you get the government that you deserve!!!

Florida oral Health Michael Easley was Quoted in the Los Angeles Times article 'the people who are against this--they are so exercised over it,' said Michael Easley,a Florida state health official who has been on of the nation's leading proponents of fluoridation for three decades. 'nobody drags anyone to a water faucet and makes them drink. Dig a well. Move out of the country.' ----This is classic Easley with arrogant attitude to all who question the king. The CDC and Easly still stick to safe for all and benefits everyone in spite of the fact of skyrocketing Dental fluorosis especially in the black community. At the same time we are starting to have huge increases in cavities in toddlers mostly in already fluoridated inner cities. This is caused by poor nutrition and hygene and often a total lack of dental care. There is not enough money in the care of the poor so they get none while they get a double dose of fluoride. Then the dentists blame it on fluoride free bottled water - could they be that stupid--the studies show its the rich kids with good teeth that get bottle water. Topical might have some benefit with less risk but systemic just does not work and almost everyone is overdosed by food, beverage ,toothpaste etc without a drop of tap water. That is why kids in non fluoridated cities still get dental fluorosis. If infants are at increased risk for lifetime defective enamel from fluoridated water then how can everyone benefit. Even WIC states health dept data that 9 of 10 girls are low on calcium which is what gives strong teeth and bones and counters fluoride damage. Data shows low iodine is a huge and growing problem and the number one cause of retardation worldwide---but fluoride lowers iodine levels and is up to 10 times more toxic when you are low in iodine. Especially for thyroid damage. This was in the 2006 NRC report that the ADA and CDC said didn't count because its only about natural fluoride. That is not what the report really said--It cited concerns for health effects at the level cities put in the water and lower especially when the iodine level is low. ADA forgot to mention that maybe. Informed consent starts with the truth not the serial lies from the health dept by dupes reading off a cheat sheet. And Mr Easley a cumulative toxic waste with no FDA approval and not one chronic health study showing safety is not just like vitamin C. Hydroflosilic acid is from polution scrubbers of the phosophate plants which used to produce 75% of the uranium yellowcake for the US until we could buy it elsewhere cheaper. Now it is just left in the product with all of the decay compounds in the fluoride product and the huge -huge waste piles that are too radioactive for most uses.

BEWARE OF YOUR CITY WATER Your health could be at risk by the water you drink! The 2006 National Research Council report had 500 pages of concerns about risk of medical conditions caused by by fluoride. Eleven unions at the Environmental Protection Agency are claiming fraud in reports where the data from the studies were ignored or altered. They are demanding an immediate moratorium on fluoridation, citing cancer and other health risks. The Center of Disease Control has ethics charges filed against them for hiding information on fluoride. It does seem that our government has been hiding the truth about fluoride and the risk to our health. FLUORIDATION EXPERIMENT The fluoridation experiment began in 1945. The government began to fluoridate whole cities, claiming there would be huge dental benefits. (I would call this medication without notification or consent. ) At first, the experts said that it would reduce cavities. Of course, this would protect the people who could not afford dental care. Instead of the huge benefits, the experts started seeing more dental problems, teeth were discolored, porous enamel, and just plain ugly. They also discovered that African Americans were damaged about twice as often as Whites and that the damage was more severe. Did they share these results with the American people? No. You have to stop and ask yourself, 'Why would the officials keep this a secret? Why is the truth about the dangers of fluoride being kept from us?' The government set a safe limit guideline for fluoride, assuming an an adult would only drink one quart of water a day. I drink more then this. Do you? One of the problems is that the only source of fluoride they considered was the fluoride you would receive from drinking water. Is that the only source of fluoride? No. It is in our food and beverages. It is in our toothpaste.Have you ever read the warning on the label of fluoridated toothpaste? It reads, keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age. If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.' The American Dental Association warned dentists that infants were at risk for dental damage if fluoridated water was used in infant formula. The Center of Disease Control agreed, but neither group has made an attempt to warn parents. WIC, Healthy Start and most health departments have chosen not to inform us of these warnings and even worse they claim everyone benefits. Why? You would need to ask yourself,'Are my health concerns related to toxic fluoridated water?' Take action to protect your health. Search for the truth yourself. You have a world of facts at your fingertips. An excellent source of information on the dangers of fluoride is www.fluoridealert.org Take the time to find the truth and protect your families.

Tried to get Riverbend Church to post something or mention or even to just suggest parents check out The new policys and concerns or fluoridated water and the Principal would have no part of it . Earlier the staff seemed afraid to even touch or look at the material until those higher up passed judgement. Do we have to get the ok from god? I am just trying to make people aware of the issue and they can take it from their. The dental association seem to have fallen short in any attempt to alert the public and the CDC has no press release.

It looks like Bright house stopped running the fluoride infant warning after 2 weeks. Thankful for that-just hope some saw it and study up. The best and most damning studies were done in India by Teotia and Scsheela. Fluoride damages when at 0.6 and above and more so when low in Calcium..WIC in Sept 2006 admitted that USDA statistics showed 60-90 % of kids and teens fall short on calcium . 7 of 10 boys are short on calcium and 9 of 10 girls! Half of all bone is formed as kids if they have enough calcium---but they don't have enough. Iodine levels are falling also and fluoride is much more harmful then and pulls down iodine also. Its toxic stupid. No one thinks benefit in India-just damage. Bad or worse. Science is science--politics gets strange results.

Bright house informed me that the no fluoride for infant message is running in the entire county. A new study just was published that lead is leached from all brass fittings and meters etc at a much higher rate then thought before. This is much worse when the chlorine flush every six months is going on at about double the lead leaching in the study. In Fluoridated sample with the HFA product that is used in almost all cities the level got up to 9 times higher; Off the charts. The goal for lead is 0.0 ppb with 15ppb allowed for economic reasons. In the study they hit a high of 900ppb. No level of lead has been found free of neurotoxic effects. Toys and lipstick and all things China are great sources besides our friendly fluoride product which pulls lead from brass meters and fittings to make good water toxic . Fluoride is great for leaching aluminum out of pans when boiling -What is aluminum for --dementia assistance--The Rat tests showeed this at levels 1.0ppm f with the same levels of aluminum we add as a clarifier (Alum).. 80 % OF RATS DIED OF KIDNEY FAILURE AND DEMENTIA IN ! Too bad the writer had to take a pot-shot and include his slanted politics in the letter, but at least the message about the hospital got a prominent spread today ....
