by: Greg Lake The Security and Prosperity Partnership will end U.S. sovereignty and the American way of life...Forever! IS THE U.S. HEADED FOR A MERGER WITH CANADA AND MEXICO?The outcome of the last round of EU negotiations sets a bad precedent for those opposed to George W. Bush's "dream merger" of the United States with Mexico and Canada. President Bush plans to destroy American sovereignty as part of his "legacy." Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's last, most disgraceful official act was to give Britain's sovereignty away to the European Union. The land of the Magna Carta, a land like no other, will soon be extinguished as an independent nation, just to feed Tony Blair's insatiable ego." And Blair's successor has been told by the EU that the Brits are 'stuck with Blair's deal' - no matter how many citizens might vote against it in a referendum. Could that happen here?Unfortunatly, yes, In fact, that's very much Bush's plan. Having been thwarted in his efforts to legalize the upwards of 20 million illegal aliens in our midst, Bush has set his sights on further entangling American law and commerce with that of Mexico and Canada, by way of the euphemistically named "Security and Prosperity Partnership. The SPP is a private agreement between the leaders of Mexico, the U.S. and Canada, one which calls for the creation of an EU-like North American Union, with a single currency, no immigration restrictions, unlimited travel and settlement rights, no borders, …and no future for the average American.. It's not a treaty, because a treaty would have to be submitted to Congress for approval, and given what we saw with the Senate immigration travesty, there's no way the American people would stand for such a merger…if given a choice. Which is why Bush is determined to give voters utterly no choice. Assisted by 'working groups' staffed by bureaucrats in the Department of Commerce who decline to identify either themselves or their mandate, Bush is attempting to create an EU-like legal thicket from which his successor cannot extricate the country. With help from the Freedom of Information act, however, we are onto him. The European Union, which now holds millions of voiceless, voteless Europeans -- and now, apparently, the British -- in thrall to a heedless Brussells bureaucracy, was put into place not by the citizens of the member states, but by elitists like Tony Blair who disguised their goal of a regional government. And that's exactly what George W. Bush wants here, unless we stop it.A North American Union would not just be the end of America as we know it, but the beginning of an EU-like nightmare -- a bureaucratic coup d'etat foisted upon millions of Americans without their knowledge or consent. George W. Bush has already surrendered much of our nation's sovereignty to the hopelessly corrupt nation to the south and the feeble one to the north. He must be held to account. Jul 10, 2007 |
